Why did you start working out?
I first started working out for American football, but now for fitness and muscle contests.
How long have you been working out?
About 3 years.
What is your life like, now that you’ve made a transformation?
My life is way better than it was before but I wouldn’t say the transformation has been completed. People have been showing me more respect. Physically, I am way healthier than I was before. I don’t get sick as easily as before.
What are your goals?
To be in the best shape possible, and win a muscle contest.
What motivates you to push harder?
Seeing changes in my body and thinking about my goals are enough motivation for me.
I often hear “I’ll never be ripped because I’m Asian.” What do you have to say to that?
I think it’s complete bullshit. It’s just an excuse
What supplements do you take, if any?
Whey protein, casein protein, creatine, multi vitamin, bcaa, glutamine, fish oil, CLA
What’s your training philosophy?
Work hard and give it all you got
What workout routine has worked best for you?
I train twice a day, six days a week. I do cardio after my second workout. I split my workouts into chest, legs, back, shoulders, arm, and fullbody.
Your calves are HUGE! How do you train them?
I think it’s partly genetic!
What’s your favorite form of cardio?
I like playing sports such as basketball, American football or MMA, but if it’s strictly cardio, my favorite is jump rope HIIT.
What do you usually eat?
Lean meat, fish, eggs, oats, brown rice, sweet potatoes and lots of vegetables. It’s easy for me to gain weight, so I usually have a high protein diet. I eat more carbs during my bulking phase.
What advice can you give to those who want to lose weight and build muscle?
Work to become the best you can be and don’t compare yourself to others. Stay positive and never quit.
Who inspires you?
Friends that always support me and my gym buddies.
If people want to follow you, how can they?
